A boy grows up behind the safe walls of an apocalyptic Japan full of monsters. Tokyo flourishes as a paradise, while outside the walls of hell dangers lurk.

In the anime adaptation, Maru is voiced by Gen Satō in Japanese and Jonathan Leon in English.

It is within Takahara Academy that Tokio and Kona are introduced, first as simple classmates – but as this dark anime progresses their friendship is deepened and becomes more intimate. That connection leads to Tokio becoming pregnant, a situation that causes disastrous ripples within Takahara Academy.

Kiruko reveals her true identity as a boy (in mind) trapped in a girl's body, preventing her from reciprocating his feelings, although she deeply cares for him. As time passes, Kiruko starts to access Kiriko's memories, bringing her joy as she realizes her sister's presence still exists within her.

In The God Delusion, Professor Dawkins lines up a wide and diverse series of arguments to attempt to prove that not only does God not exist, but that the Judeo-Christian God, if he did exist, would be regarded by every right-thinking person as a moral monster.

Heavenly Delusion wrapped up its run this Spring with 13 episodes under its belt, but it had yet to be announced whether or not the anime would actually be coming back for a new season in the future.

Character Profile

According to Kiruko, he is "a beautiful boy who is hard to find." He has outstanding physical abilities and a special power to kill man-eaters, which he calls "Hiruko." He was born only a few months before the Calamity and is 15 at the start of the series.

While it wasn't revealed at first, Tokio and Kona gave birth to twins. The hair color matches and it was mentioned that Maru was born shortly before The Calamity.

Despite the inn keeper attempting to protect it, the Hiruko quickly slices her to bits and begins to ingest her. With it heavily wounded by Kiruko, Maru swiftly moves in for the kill; where he then invades its body and finally crushes Taka's core.
